After teasing it on Youtube, TVS has officially announced the launch of the 2019 Apache RR 310. The biggest change is the addition of Slipper Clutch which is almost a norm in this segment.
TVS says this Slipper Clutch is race tuned and offers swift gear shifting with very less hand fatigue. It also maintains vehicle stability at high speeds during sudden downshifts. Since it is race-bred, it helps during corners on tracks. It also has an assist function which helps in reduced clutch effort.
This feature will be standard on all the new units and it can also be retrofitted on the existing Apache 310 models.
Also, the new model gets slight changes to the decals and a new colour called as Phantom Black (which appears to have slightly different texture) has been introduced.
The first iteration of the 2019 Apache 310 was handed over to the Indian cricketer MS Dhoni.

This means that the hike is lesser than Rs 3000 for the latest variant. It will be interesting to see if TVS continues with different prices in different cities, like it was the case till now.
Price Slashed: TVS Launches Apache 180 with Single Channel ABS
It continues to be powered by the same 312 cc, reverse inclined, DOHC, liquid cooled engine which is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. It continues to produce 34 PS of peak power at 9700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of maximum torque at 7700 rpm. Other mechanicals are also expected to remain unchanged.
