Yamaha has refreshed their scooter range in India which has been initiated by the mandatory BS4 emission norms that have kicked in from 1st April 2017. They inform that all their scooters are now BS4 compliant and come with AHO (always on headlamps). Let us first talk about Fascino.
2017 Fascino BS4
It continues to be powered by the same 113 cc SOHC engine which pulls out 7.1 PS of peak power at 7500 rpm and 8.1 Nm of max torque at 5000 rpm, as before.
It has a low seat height of 775 mm and Yamaha says that its design is 7 mm leaner around thighs to help in easy grounding of the leg. It continues to have a fuel efficiency rating of 66 kmpl.
2017 Fascino Colours
Changes are only to the colour palette.
2017 Fascino now comes in six colours where four of them are dual-tone.
- Dual Tone – Blending blue, Fusion Red, Unite White, Mingling Cyan – all are new
- Single Tone – Haute White and Sassy Cyan – carried over
- Tuxedo black, Cool Cobalt and Rouge Red have been discontinued

As compared to the older price, Yamaha’s fastest selling scooter has seen an increment of Rs 1030. It retails at Rs 56,315 ex-showroom in Mumbai.
Yamaha is not offering CBS (combined braking system) on the scooter and they have not notified us of any other feature addition to the scoot.
