2016 Harley Lineup Launched in India; Street 750 Gets Better Brakes, Road King Also Introduced

Harley Davidson India has launched its recently revived 2016 model lineup in India. They have been very aggressive in India ever since the success of the Street 750 and this quick launch, only re-instates their commitment to the nation. Apart from bringing the updates, the company has also brought the new Road King for Rs 25.0 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi.

The manufacturer has been growing manifold in terms of sales volume and is even manufacturing the Street 500 and Street 750 for global exports. Apart from the motorcycles they have also brought a range of New Motor Clothes many of which are from the Black Label Collection. It also includes a plethora of P&A which customers can buy to customise their new motorcycles.

2016 Street 750

The largest selling Harley model in India, Street 750 gets new better brakes. The first edition of the bike has allowed a lot of prospect buyers to enter the Harley clan. It was received well but yes, there was a widespread belief that the motorcycle could have done with better brakes and Harley has obliged! The 2016 Street 750 now comes with a new front and rear braking system and improved wire loom routing. The rebellious Dark Custom style also gains a new Superior Blue paint scheme. The new 2016 Street 750 carries a sticker price of Rs 4.52 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2016 Iron 883

The Iron 883 gets a new outlook towards comfort with all-new adjustable rear suspension set-up and front suspension forks. With the rough looks of a garage built bike, the Iron 883 gets straight cut mufflers, a low drag-style handlebar, chopped rear fender and a solo tuck and roll seat. The urban asphalt muncher also gets a new Black Denim colour scheme. The new 2016 Iron 883 can be yours for Rs 7.37 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

2016 Forty Eight

The Forty Eight does not get left behind too. The iconic peanut tank gets 70s inspired graphics and floating brake rotors. That’s not all as the Forty Eight, just like the Iron 883, gains updates concentrating on comfort. This includes new seats, adjustable rear suspension, wider 49 mm front forks and mag wheels. It also gets blackened out slotted exhaust and a new Velocity Red Sunglo colour. The 2016 Forty Eight carries a price tag of Rs 9.12 lakhs ex-showroom, Delhi).

2016 Heritage Softail

The company has introduced the High Output Twin Cam 103 engine in all the Softail models but the Heritage Softail Classic gets the majority of the changes. Apart from the new engine it also gains cruise control as a standard feature and new saddlebags. The 2016 Heritage Softail classic carries a price tag of Rs 16.6 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

New Introduction: 2016 Road King

The new 2016 Road King comes as a part of Project Rushmore’s touring revolution. Styled as a long distance cross-country tourer, the bike aims to be a cruiser without the hassles of a ‘big’ tourer. The Road King is priced at Rs 25.0 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
