At the AIMExpo Suzuki celebrated its half a decade of motorcycle making with a 50th Anniversary version of 2014 Hayabusa which was painted in two-tone livery. Colored in Candy Daring Red and Glass Sparkle Black, the anniversary edition Hayabusa appears to be looking even more massive and imposing…
The special edition carries the same 1340cc 4 cylinder engine which produces 173hp of brute power and 141Nm of massive torque. Hayabusas are known for their impeccable highway high speed manners and the current versions have been electronically limited to a top whack of 299kmph. And if you want to whip open and burst the roads, don’t just break the accelerator, get the limiter removed!
The Anniversary Hayabusa comes with 3 spoke alloys, Brembo discs with ABS, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector along with a heavy 266 kilograms of kerb weight.
Hayabusas crown of the fastest production bike in the country was broken by Kawasaki’s ZX-14R which was launched in India just a few days back at a price tag of Rs 16.9 Lakhs.
Though, not the Anniversary edition, but the regular Hayabusa is available for sale in India and costs Rs 15.95 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi. There is also a Limited Edition of Hayabusa that is available here in bright yellow color (pictured above) which costs Rs 16.45 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
