2-Wheeler Sales September 2021 – Almost all makers registered degrowth in numbers as compared to last September…

With buying sentiments improving in the last few months, auto makers were hoping for a rebound in their monthly sales charts. However, this hasn’t happened.

Country’s largest maker Hero MotoCorp continued its reign at the top, however, it was down by 1.92 Lac units.

TVS was the maker which registered better numbers as compared to last September…

For Royal Enfield, sales halved as compared to the last September’s numbers. However, export figures were on a positive side with a 52% rise.

Bajaj also suffered a decline in the monthly sales for September. However, bucking the trend, TVS Motor recorded a minor growth in its wholesale numbers. Honda also closed last month with a minor drop in sales, however, from almost a difference of 2 lakh units last September, the gap with its arch-rival Hero was down by 41,783 units.

2-Wheeler Retail Sales July 2021: Everybody Gains

While makers have sprung back to action after the government lifted off the COVID lockdowns, sales figures are still not very convincing. Everybody is hooked onto the festive season sales for the month of October and November.
