United Motorcycles showcased their products for the first time at the Delhi Auto Expo in 2014 and since then the brand has lingered in in the memory of motorcycle enthusiasts – with the same question – when will they launch? Looking at the interest levels, we tried to dig deeper and we have some interesting revelations…
Our sources reveal that the United Motorcycles will be launching finally at the Auto Expo in February next year. The brand will start their innings with three models to begin with which will belong to the Renegade family, however, they (bikes) will be ‘mechanically different‘ from the ones showcased at the Auto Expo.
In fact, as per our sources, the new bikes can be expected to be powered by a slightly bigger engine! We also expect UM to price them very competitively so if you have been holding back your purchase for a proper cruiser with a bigger engine, your wish is soon going to come true!
To keep production costs under check, the brand is also going to manufacture the bikes in India at partner Lohia Group’s Kashipur plant which has an annual capacity of 1 lakh units! United Motorcycle already sells its motorcycles in Bangladesh.
