- It will carry a very aggressive design
Now, if we relate this info with the spotting of a mysterious TVS test mule in Bangalore in March this year (pictured below), things become interesting. So, it appears that apart from the ~300cc K03 that TVS is developing with BMW, the under 300cc segment will be taken care by their own products, of which upcoming Apache 200 may be the main arsenal.
TVS is the only company in the top four which doesn’t have a 200cc in the market yet! Despite the lack of any major product overhauls, sales of their Apache 160 and 180 increased significantly last financial year (as compared to FY 2013-14). However, enthusiasts have been eagerly waiting for a bigger motorcycle from TVS since time immemorial.
With Bajaj upping the ante in the 200cc segment, things may not be easy for TVS, but if the motorcycle bears any decent resemblance with Draken, we may brace ourselves up for possibly the best looking naked in town! Now, that’s the news of the day!
