Yamaha India is loosing sales in the premium 150 cc space and to arrest the slide, they are doing what they do best – launch new model year variants of existing motorcycles to bring some freshness to the lineup. After a few days of launching the R15-S, Yamaha has introduced new color options for their FZ FI V2 and Fazer FI v2 in a hope to boost their sales ahead of the festive rush.
This was already revealed by Yamaha folks in an interaction we had at a recent press meet and today we have the official press release from the company. Here is the list of new color options for both the bikes respectively…
2016 FZ FI V2 Color Options
- Wolf Gray
- Shark White
- Viper Black
- Alligator Green
Looks like the guy who decided the color names was an animal lover! Price of the FZ v2 is Rs 82,159 ex-showroom Delhi, which is Rs 500 more than the older variants.
2016 Fazer FI v2 Color Options
The new Fazer is available in three new colors…
- Ravine Black
- Volcano Red
- Snowstorm White
Fazer FI V2 costs Rs 87,305 ex-showroom in Delhi, which again is Rs 500 higher than the older models.
The engine for both the bikes remain the same 149 cc fuel injected mill producing 13.1 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm and there are no other mechanical differences.
