A picture posted at Facebook group Suzuki Gixxer 155-the street sport bike, takes our attention to the FZ v2 in sight. It adorns the battle-green color we have already seen on the older FZs and the one which, frankly, we do not like much! This particular FZ has been snapped at some dealership and we are unsure if it is a company provided new color offering or a dealership-level modification. By the fit and finish of the motorcycle, it may possibly be a new special variant introduction by Yamaha possibly on the occasion of its one year completion in the country.
If it is, going by the history, the mechanicals are expected to remain the same with the fuel injected 149 cc mill producing 13.1 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.
Getting back to the colour theme, the design pattern remains pretty much the same like last time but the difference is the addition of yellow strokes to the head lamp console as well.
Yamaha has been offering such minor refreshments to their FZ lineup but in the wake of competition, it remains to be seen how long can they hold on, specially, when the latest reports signal their loosing streak (read report here)…
