Yamaha India, continuing with its drive to cement its position as the largest seller of premium 150 cc motorcycles in India has inaugurated a new dealership in Gurgaon. Sidharth Auto, the new dealership will be channeling its focus on the National Capital Region, aiming to increase the company’s market reach in the region which will directly lead to an increase of market share.
The dealership covers an area of 5,500 square feet and will have the entire range of products from Yamaha India’s product portfolio – automatic scooters and motorcycles. Yamaha right now has a dealership count of 400 outlets and 1,200 touch points spread across the country. They aim to increase the customer touch point to 2,500 by 2016.
The new Yamaha Gurgaon dealership will also follow 3S ideology and will be equipped with Sales, Service and spare parts. With the launch of the new dealership the management expects it to lead to a proper distribution channel and provision of genuine spare parts and accessories, thereby increasing reliability and customer satisfaction. The company claims to be holding a 30 per cent market share in the national capital region in the deluxe segment.
