3 Lac Yamaha Fascino 125 & Ray ZR Recalled in India

This latest Yamaha Fascino recall pertains to some issue with the brake lever. It also includes sibling Ray ZR. How to check & other details inside..

International manufacturers like Yamaha have really been proactive when it comes to official recalls. Recalls are announced by responsible makers, accepting some kind of a fault in an already delivered motorcycle or scooter, to rectify the issue, by either changing the part altogether or altering the setting, as may be required.

This behavior should be promoted and is better than all those irresponsible makers who sit on a known issue, silently rectifying problems of people who report them to service stations. It must be noted that sometimes certain issues can be life threatening and makers should be courageous enough to blatantly accept mistakes and announce rectifications.

In one such incident, Yamaha has called back around 3 Lakh of its 125cc scooter models which include the Fascino 125 as well as the Ray ZR 125. This is pertaining an issue with the brake lever function. These scooter models manufactured between January 2022 onwards may be affected and the replacement part will be provided free of cost to the customer.
