Yamaha Donates Rs 25 Lakh in UP to Fight COVID

Corporates are coming forward during this time of distress when the whole country is fighting the deadly and contagious COVID-19 pandemic. Yamaha had earlier announced that its employees from all the three plant locations, corporate office and various area offices in the country had donated Rs 61.5 lakh towards various relief operations.

Out of this amount a cheque of Rs 25 lakh has been handed over to the District Magistrate, Gautam Buddh Nagar to support the Uttar Pradesh government in fighting the Corona virus. Present at the occasion were senior officials from the Yamaha Motor India Group apart from Mr Suhas Lalinakere Yathiraj, District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar, UP.

Remaining parts ie Rs 25 Lakh and Rs 11.5 lakh have gone to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund, Government of Tamil Nadu and PM Cares Fund respectively.
