Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh Launch Price Rs 1.44 Lakh, 187 Km Range

Equipped with dual 2.2 kWh removable battery packs, it will be the range-topping variant in the VX2 electric scooter line-up in India

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh at a sticker price of Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in the Indian market. This is the fourth variant in the VX2 range as Go, Plus and Knight Edition are already on sale in the country. The new long-range variant of the electric scooter has undergone a historic cross-country expedition, officially securing a spot in the Asia Book of Records for the ‘Longest Journey by an Electric Scooter.’ It will directly rival TVS iQube S 4.7 kWh and Ola S1 X+ 5.2 kWh in India.

Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh comes with dual 2.2 kWh removable battery packs which return a maximum IDC-certified range of 187 km. It can be charged from 0-80 percent in 3 hours and 30 minutes by using a 1 kW portable charger. The e-scooter is also compatible with high-speed DC fast charging as it takes merely 65 mins for a 0-80 percent juice up through Ather Grid network.

The electric motor connected to the dual batteries produces max power of 8 bhp and peak torque of 26 Nm as it propels the electric scooter to reach a top speed of 90 kmph. Some of the notable features onboard the VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh are 4.3-inch TFT display, smartphone integration, turn-by-turn navigation, 27.2L under-seat storage area, CBS braking system and OTA updates.

The VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh also gets three distinct riding modes in the form of Eco, Ride and Sports. Girish Shet, a passionate rider and a Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) fan, covered a journey of 12,111 km on the VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh during a 52-day long continuous ride which began in Bengaluru and culminated in Delhi, tracing a route through all KKR match host cities.

The Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh will be available across authorized dealerships nationwide by end of July 2026. Additionally, the company is also offering Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) plans for a reduced upfront pricing with all its electric scooters in the Indian market. Hero MotoCorp’s electric arm Vida has extensive network of over 6,000 fast charging stations and 700+ service touchpoints.
