Vida VX2 Go FB Launch Price Rs 1.13 Lakh, 128 Km Range

The fixed battery variant is compatible with direct-plug charging through a standard wall socket while also supporting DC fast-charging

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Vida VX2 Go FB at a sticker price of Rs 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in the Indian market. The 3.1 kWh fixed-battery variant will return an IDC-certified range of 128 km on a full charge. The Vida VX2 Go FB is compatible with direct-plug charging through a standard wall socket as compared to the existing lineup of company scooters which are available with removable battery pack. It has been positioned between the Vida VX2 Go 2.2 kWh (93 km range) and Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh (146 km range).

The VX2 Go FB comes equipped with a 6 kW swingarm mounted electric motor which propels it to clock a top speed of 70 kmph. Some of the notable features onboard the electric scooter long and comfortable seat, 27.2 litres under-seat storage, 4.3-inch LCD with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, and DC fast-charging with 0-80 percent juiceup in 65 mins.

The Vida VX2 Go FB will also be available with a flexible Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. It will rival Ola S1X, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak in the domestic market. The fixed battery scooter will reach the company authorized dealerships nationwide starting early August. Hero MotoCorp presently has an extensive network of over 5,900 fast-charging stations and 700+ service touchpoints across the country.

Vida VX2 is sold in two variants namely Go and Plus. The Go trim is available with portable battery packs of 2.2 kWh and 3.4 kWh as they return ranges of 93 km and 146 km, respectively. On the other hand, the Plus grade can be availed with 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh removable battery options with riding range of 146 km and 187 km, respectively.

The Vida VX2 Plus has a top speed of 90 kmph while it takes 3.1 secs for a 0-40 kmph sprint. In addition, it is compatible with DC fast-charging with the 0–80 percent charge achievable in just 65 minutes. On the other hand, Vida VX2 Go has a top speed of 70 kmph while taking 4.2 secs for the 0–40 kmph acceleration. It also supports DC fast charging as it takes merely 65-minutes for a 0–80 percent battery juice up.

Vida also retails the Dirt.E K3 electric off-roader bike, which has been developed specifically for young riders. It features a three-size adaptive system which can transforms across small, medium, and large configurations. The electric bike has a robust app-based parental controls that allows adults to manage acceleration and enforce top speed limits.
