The latest model in Vespa 946 limited-edition series pays homage to the symbolism of the Year of the Horse

Vespa 946 Horse has been unveiled as part of the brand’s Lunar Collection limited-edition model. The company had earlier introduced the Dragon and Snake versions of the Vespa 946. Rolled out in a deep brown shade, it gets a steelbody with contrasting matte and gloss finishes. The Vespa 946 Horse bookings have already commenced at the official website while it can also be availed the VESPA THE EMPTY SPACE store in Milan, where the model will also be exclusively on display. The buyers can also preview the Horse helmet at the Milan store from Feb 10.

The new limited-edition model of the Vespa 946 pays tribute to the symbolism of the Year of the Horse. It flaunts refined golden details in the form of the V monogram stamped at the center of a horseshoe beneath the leather saddle, which is inspired by equestrian tack and handcrafted by skilled Italian artisans. The handlebars and rear-view mirrors also feature premium leather trims.

The Italian brand has also presented a curated collection of accessories to complement the Vespa 946 Horse. The rear bag is made from the same leather as the saddle while the windscreen is created from aluminium. The jet helmet boasts of a three-dimensional gold V on the back which is in line with the overall design and appearance of the Vespa 946 Horse.

Vespa 946 Horse will be retailed at a staggering price point of $24,840 (Around Rs 22.84 lakh). The company had allocated 946 units for the Australian market and the entire stock has already been sold out. Though only one unit is available for purchase in New Zealand. The number of units of this limited edition model allocated for India are not known yet.

Mechanically, the Vespa 946 Horse remains unchanged as it is powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder engine with power and torque figures of 11.4 bhp and 10.3 Nm, respectively. The scooter comes with a dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, 12-inch wheels, and five-position preload adjustment rear suspension.
