Like other manufacturers, TVS Motor also had a large inventory of BS3 motorcycles and scooters which they are clearing off, as much as possible.
They have shot in an official press release announcing the clearance of their stock and are also running radio ads to spread the news. According to TVS, all their products which include Apache range, 100cc commuters, scooters like Jupiter, Wego, Scooty and the XL range of mopeds, can be had with discounts of upto Rs 20,150.
They have not specified the modelwise discount break-up. However, based on the information provided by various showrooms in India, the Apache range, including the Apache 200, wherever available, can be had for discounts of Rs 8000 to Rs 10,000. Similar is the slash on their largest selling scooter Jupiter.
Offers on other slow sellers like Wego and Scooty may be higher.
Again, as a reminder, let us tell you that this is applicable only on the BS3 stock and go ahead with the purchase without worrying about its registration. Supreme Court has allowed registration of BS3 vehicles purchased till today, if you have the proof (invoice and other documents).
