In the coming months, Honda will be on a launching spree as several new bikes, scooters and EVs will go on sale in the Indian market
Honda 2-Wheelers India showcased five all-new models earlier this year and stated that all these will be locally manufactured in our country as they are launched in a phased manner. Out of the five products, Honda Rebel 300 and Honda ADV160 Flex-Fuel E85 have already gone on sale, while the remaining three will be introduced in the coming months. In addition, the Japanese brand had filed design patents for a couple of other models in the beginning of 2026. Hence, in this piece, we will talk about the upcoming Honda bikes and scooters in India.
1. Honda CB500
Honda CB500 will be introduced in three trims namely Alloy, Spoke tubeless and Spoke tubeless with graphics. Inspired by the legendary CB750, it will get a plethora of premium and upmarket features in the form of all-LED lighting, semi-digital instrument cluster, front and rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).
Honda CB500 will be up against the likes of Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the BSA Gold Star 650 in the Indian market. The CB500 will be rolled out with traditional telescopic front forks and dual-shock rear absorbers. It will be powered by an all-new 501cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which develops top power of 27 hp and peak torque of 43.3 Nm, while linked to a 5-speed gearbox.
2. Honda QC3
The QC3 will be presented as the brand’s flagship electric scooter in the Indian market with a fixed 3 kWh battery pack and fast-charging compatibility. The launch date has not been announced yet, but we expect Honda QC3 to go on sale within FY27 in India to rival the likes of TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather 450, and Hero Vida V2. It was showcased earlier this year at an event in New Delhi.
Powered by a 3 kWh battery pack, the electric scooter will return an IDC range of 145 km on a full charge. It will take nearly 2 hours and 40 mins for a 0-80 percent charge while a complete (100%) juice-up will consume 4 hours. Some of the notable elements on-board the e-scooter will be 32-litre under-seat storage, Smart Key, and a 5-inch TFT cluster with turn-by-turn navigation and Honda RoadSync.
3. Honda XR300L
The dual-purpose all-terrain adventure bike was unveiled earlier this year in India alongside several other models such as the QC3, CB500 and Rebel 300. Honda stated the XR300L is “made for those who live for the thrill of the trail. Mud, gravel, sand or rock.” It will come with front and rear disc brakes while a switchable dual-channel ABS will also be offered as standard feature.
Honda XR 300L will also get a gas-charged pro-link rear suspension and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). It is expected to be powered by a 293.5cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which we have seen in the CB300F. Needless to mention, the XR 300L will come fitted with wire-spoke wheels and off-road biased tyres as it is likely to be priced around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
4. Honda XR 300 Rally
Unlike the XR 300L, which is an out-and-out off-roader for all-terrain riding, the XR 300 Rally is more of an adventure tourer with focus on long-distance trail touring. Inspired by Honda’s rally heritage, it will be rolled out with rally-inspired styling, comfort-oriented equipment and wind protection. The brand states that the XR 300 Rally is “born from Honda’s Dakar-winning rally DNA”.
Some of the notable features onboard the XR 300 Rally will be front and rear disc brakes, switchable dual-channel ABS, gas-charged pro-link rear suspension, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), and Honda RoadSync. At the heart, it will have the same 293.5cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine as the XR 300L with identical power output and torque performance.
5. Honda UC3
Honda recently filed design patent for yet another electric scooter in the Indian market in the form of the UC3. Just so you know, the e-scooter was launched in Thailand and Vietnam a few days back. Honda UC3 is the first company scooter to be equipped with LFP battery pack. Design-wise, the UC3 is a perfect amalgamation of a maxi-scooter and neo-retro scooter. Riding on 12-inch front and rear wheels, the electric scooter clocks a top speed of 80 kmph.
In terms of features, Honda UC3 gets multiple ride modes (Econ, Standard & Sport), traction control, reverse assist, Type-C USB charging port, Smart Key with keyless start, regen tech and 5-inch TFT instrument console with Honda RoadSync. The e-scooter comes with 26 litres of underseat storage capacity. At the heart, it has the 3.2 kWh battery pack which is connected to an electric motor developing 8 bhp of maximum power. The UC3 delivers a range of 122 km on a single charge.
