Being one of the fastest growing and possibly the most interesting segments in the Indian motorcycle industry, the 150-160 cc territory has players from all the major manufacturers, each trying to outdo the other. The category can be roughly divided in to three main sub categories – the performance oriented 150s which includes the likes of Yamaha R15 and Honda CBR 150R, another being the commuter centric 150 or entry level segment which includes the Discover 150, SZ series etc and last but not the least, the premium 150 cc territory.

This is what we are going to talk about right now. Coupling an optimum between fuel efficiency and performance the bikes in this segment have been curated to make you smile more often, both at the streets and petrol pump.

The FZ Version 2.0 with its fuel injected Blue core engine has been priced at Rs 76,250 while the FZ-S Version 2.0 has been priced at Rs 78,250. This is a pretty high price tag for a motorcycle of this genre, but we should not forget that it comes with fuel injection, the only motorcycle in this list!
