Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter Launch Price Rs 1.20 Lakh

The special introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh is reserved only for the initial 10,000 customers in the domestic market.

Ultraviolette, the Bengaluru-based EV startup, has ventured into the electric scooter segment with the launch of the Tesseract in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the first 10k buyers can avail it at a special introductory price of Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India). After the initial 10,000 customers, Ultraviolette Tesseract price for the next 50,000 buyers will be Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The brand has also unveiled the Shockwave electric motorcycle alongside the Tesseract e-scooter.

The e-scooter flaunts twin projector headlamps with floating DRLs upfront while riding on 14-inch wheels. It has an underseat storage space of 34 litres. Being touted as ‘The World’s Most Advanced Electric Scooter’, Ultraviolette Tesseract comes with first-in-segment integrated radar and dashcam, flanked by Omnisense mirrors. In addition, it gets safety features like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change, Overtaking Assist, and real-time Collision Alerts.

The feature list is as extensive as it can be with the inclusion of Traction control, Dynamic regen, 7-inch touchscreen TFT instrument console and multi-colour LED displays in ORVMs. The company has introduced VIOLETTE A.I. suite which offers multiple connectivity features in the form of Advanced Ride Analytics, Movement, Fall and Towing Alerts, Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, Daily Ride Stats, and Anti-Collision Warning System.

The Tesseract houses a 6 kWh battery pack which returns an IDC range of 261 km on a single charge. It has a max power output of 20 bhp. The base trim of the scooter is equipped with a 3.5kWh battery with a peak power output of 13.4 bhp and an IDC range of 162 kms. The mid-variant houses a 5 kWh battery which develops power output of 20.1 bhp while delivering an IDC range of 220 km on a full charge.

The scooter also supports fast charging and it takes even less than an hour to juice it up to 80 percent from standstill. It will be sold in four colour options namely Sunburst Sand, Stealth Black, Sonic Pink, and Solar White. At this price point, it will directly rival Ola S1 Pro Plus, TVS iQube ST and Hero Vida V2 Pro in the domestic market.

Ultraviolette Tesseract deliveries will start from the first quarter of 2026 while bookings are open at a token payment of Rs 999/- across the country.
