Ultraviolette Terrasect E-Scooter Deliveries Delayed – Here’s Why

Ultraviolette Terrasect electric scooter deliveries were supposed to start from Q1 2026, but now they have been postponed by a few months

Ultraviolette Terrasect had its world premiere earlier this year in March at the Fast Forward India ’25, in Bengaluru. During the unveiling, it was presented as the world’s most advanced electric scooter at a final pricing of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The pre-bookings began at a token payment of Rs 999/- at the brand’s official website in India. The first deliveries of the Terrasect e-scooter were promised from early 2026, i.e. the first quarter (Jan-Mar) of next year. However, Ultraviolette website now states that deliveries are likely to be delayed by a few months and would only commence in the second quarter (Apr-Jun) of 2026.

Ultraviolette website shows the updated booking amount as Rs 5,000/- as compared to the previous token money of Rs 999/- for Terrasect. Further, it states that the final variant selection and configuration will be released in Q4 2025, i.e. Oct-Dec this year. Though the aforementioned time period has already begun but there is still no word on when exactly it will be activated for the buyers.

The Terrasect e-scooter comes with first-in-class integrated radar and dashcam which are paired with Omnisense mirrors to offer ADAS tech with a plethora of advanced safety features such as Blindspot Detection, Lane Change, Overtaking Assist, and real-time Collision Alerts. In addition, it also gets Traction control and Dynamic regen as standard. Ultraviolette Terrasect is powered by the in-house built VIOLETTE A.I. to unlock an array of connectivity features in the form of Advanced Ride Analytics, Movement, Fall and Towing Alerts, Remote Lockdown, Crash Alert, Daily Ride Stats, and an Anti-Collision Warning System. The electric scooter boasts of a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display, and multi-colour LED displays embedded in the ORVMs.

Ultraviolette claims that the Terrasect e-scooter can be fast charged up to 80 percent in even less than an hour. It received thunderous response as more than 50,000 units of the electric scooter were booked within just 2 weeks. Hence, it appears that due to an unexpectedly massive number of bookings, the deliveries have been pushed back to ensure adequate production.
