Ultraviolette F77 Completes Isle of Man TT Mountain Circuit

The F77 has become the the first Indian motorcycle to complete one of the world’s most demanding and iconic motorcycle courses

Ultraviolette F77 has become the first Indian motorcycle to complete the legendary Isle of Man TT Mountain Circuit, which is considered as one of the world’s most demanding and iconic motorcycle courses. A total of five F77 motorcycles completed a lap of the famed 37.72-mile (60.72 km) Mountain Course on 6th June, 2026 while they were piloted by James Hillier (former Isle of Man TT Winner), Ranvijay Singha (Motorcycle enthusiast and actor) and Abhishek Vasudev (Multiple national champion). This achievement has been officially recognized by the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.

Speaking on the announcement, Narayan Subramaniam, CEO & Co-founder, Ultraviolette, said, “Completing a lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with the F77s is a significant milestone for Ultraviolette and a proud moment for Indian design and engineering. It demonstrates how far electric motorcycle technology has evolved and reinforces our belief that high-performance electric mobility can compete on the world’s most demanding stages”.

Ultraviolette F77 is the only Indian electric 2-Wheeler to be certified and retailing in UK and 18 other countries across Europe. Powered by a 10.3 kWh battery pack, it offers a range of up to 323 kms (IDC). Further, it delivers top power of 40.2 bhp and peak torque of 100 Nm, which clocking a top speed of 155 kmph. It is equipped with the brand’s proprietary artificial intelligence system, Violette A.I. as standard.

Narayan added, “For decades, the Isle of Man TT has been where motorcycle technology is tested, proven, and celebrated. The TT Zero class was ahead of its time and showed the world that electric motorcycles could be more than an alternative; that they could be genuinely exciting, competitive and capable. Today, electric motorcycles have reached an entirely new level of capability and we would love to see electric racing return to the Isle of Man TT and continue driving the next chapter of motorcycle innovation.”

The F77 Mach 2 gets industry-leading switchable Dual-Channel ABS which has been developed by Bosch. Additional advanced features such as 10 levels of Regenerative Braking, 4 levels of Traction Control, and Dynamic Stability Control. Last year, Ultraviolette had unveiled the Gen3 Powertrain Firmware with a new Ballistic+ ride mode for all the existing as well as new customers of the F77 electric motorcycle. It is being offered at no additional cost to the current customers.

The company had claimed that it will focus on safety features in F77 models and hence it introduced Traction Control, Violette A.I., Dynamic Stability Control (UVDSC), 10 levels of Regenerative Braking and Hill-Hold Assist among others.
