Two-Wheeler Sales July 2026: Hero, Honda, TVS, Bajaj, Suzuki, Yamaha

The two-wheeler segment witnessed a decent surge in YoY sales by 28 percent in July 2026 with domestic volumes surpassing 18 lakh units

The Indian two-wheeler industry recorded a healthy YoY growth of 28 percent in July 2026 as 18,18,289 units were retailed last month, as per the data shared by Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA). The overall two-wheeler sales in July 2025 stood at 14,17,767 units. Honda 2-Wheelers dethroned Hero MotoCorp from the topmost position and emerged as India’s biggest two-wheeler brand in terms of retail volumes. TVS Motor Company was the fastest growing mainstream brand in July 2026 sales.

Honda sold 4,69,687 units in July 2026 with a YoY growth of 28.5 percent as it has registered sales of 3,65,395 units during the same month last year. It secured a market share of 25.83 percent last month in the domestic market. Hero MotoCorp occupied the second position with 4,40,662 units with a YoY growth of 26.8 percent against 3,47,398 units in July 2025.

TVS Motor Company bagged the third position with 3,74,113 units while being the fastest growing two-wheeler brand in July 2026 with a YoY growth of 33.5 percent. The company had recorded sales of 2,80,337 in July 2025 while the market share currently stood at 20.6 percent. It has been leading the electric two-wheeler segment with iQube and Orbiter in India.

Bajaj Auto posted a YoY growth of 22.9 percent with sales of 1,80,183 units in July 2026. Despite this, the market share of the company fell in single-digit (9.9%) last month. It had sold 1,46,667 units in July 2025. Suzuki Motorcycle India was the only brand in the list to register a single-digit YoY growth (9.2%) in July 2026 with sales of 1,02,668 units.

Royal Enfield continued at the sixth position with domestic sales of 95,080 units and YoY growth of 31.7 percent. The brand had retailed 72,207 motorcycles in July 2025. Yamaha was at the seventh spot with sales of 67,781 units in July 2026 with a YoY growth of 29.1 percent. The Japanese company had sold 52,486 units during the same month last year.

The eight, ninth and tenth positions were held by three pure EV brands in the form of Ather Energy, Ola Electric and Greaves Electric Mobility (GEM), respectively, in July 2026. Upnext were River Mobility, BGauss Auto, Classic Legends and Piaggio Vehicles while “Others” accounted for 13,830 units in the overall two-wheeler sales last month in the domestic market in India.
