Two-Wheeler Sales Dec 2025: Hero Splendor, Honda Activa Lead

Hero Splendor was the highest-selling motorcycle while Honda Activa was the best-selling scooter model in Dec 2025 in the domestic market

Hero Splendor continued as India’s top-selling two-wheeler in Dec 2025 sales. The company sold a total of 2,80,760 units of the commuter bike last month as compared to 1,92,438 units in Dec 2024. The Splendor has been India’s highest-selling motorcycle for the last so many years now with no real competition from the rival brands. It is available with both 100cc and 125cc engine options while offered in a total of 4 models namely Splendor Plus, Splendor Plus Xtec, Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 and Super Splendor Xtec.

Honda Activa occupied the second position with 1,81,604 units in Dec 2025 against 1,20,981 units during the same month last year. It also retained its crown of being the best-selling scooter model in the Indian market. The Activa is sold with both 110cc and 125cc engines in two variants namely Standard and Anniversary Edition. The scooter has not been toppled yet from the pole position.

The third spot was grabbed by Honda Shine with sales of 1,41,602 units last month as compared to 1,00,841 units sold in Dec 2024. It is a direct rival to the best-selling motorcycle of India, i.e. Hero Splendor, while retailed with both 100cc and 125cc engines. While it is presented in two models namely Shine 100 and Shine 100 DX with the former, it gets a single model in the form of the Shine 125 with the latter.

The fourth, fifth, and sixth positions in Dec 2025 sales were TVS Jupiter, Bajaj Pulsar and Suzuki Access with sales of 1,20,477 units, 79,616 units and 69,622 units, respectively. All the three models namely TVS Jupiter, Bajaj Pulsar and Suzuki Access registered YoY growth as 88,668 units, 65,571 units, and 52,171 units, respectively, were sold in Dec 2024.

Hero HF Deluxe and TVS XL took on the seventh and eighth spots with sales of 49,051 units and 46,133 units, respectively, in Dec 2025. Both these models recorded positive YoY sales growth as 41,713 units and 33,092 units of the HF Deluxe and XL, respectively, were sold in Dec 2024. Both these models cater to the entry-level segment in the Indian market as they comes with 100cc engine.

The last two names who made their way to this list are TVS Apache and TVS iQube at ninth and tenth slots, respectively. Notably, the iQube was the only all-electric model in the list with sales of 35,177 units in Dec 2025 as compared to 20,003 units in Dec 2024. As for the Apache nameplate, the brand sold a total of 45,507 units in Dec 2025 against 20,885 units in Dec 2024.
