TVS Unveils its Velocity 160 Concept at Jakarta Motorcycle Show

TVS is one of the bike manufacturers that are catching up really fast. They have made some exceptional masterpieces in the past. In a recent Jakarta Motorcycle show, TVS surprised everyone by introducing the world its Velocity 160 concept bike.  Speaking of the looks, Velocity 160 concept looks like a modified version of Apache RTR 160 and also has subtle resemblance to Yamaha Fz 16.  The bike sports a saber tooth design i.e. a tooth like thing falling straight from the fuel tank, this has added to the look of the bike. However the tank and the speedometer of Velocity 160 are taken from Apache, the bike may altogether prove a boon for the company.

TVS Velocity 160 came as refreshment to the audiences as it was TVS’s attempt to introduce the world with something new. The bike moreover gave out a feeling of street bike because of the overall hunky and muscular appeal.

The bike sports huge front, petal disc brakes, upside down forks, wide tyres and a rear mono shock. Overall the bike looked good with good quality features.  The launch of this TVS concept bike is to assess the reactions of Indonesian market.

Speaking of the tyres, the front tyres are Battlax 120/70-17 while the rear alloys are covered in 150/60-17 Battleax rubber.  The mono shock unit at the rear is said to be the YSS unit. Mr. Benny Yuniardi Widiatmoko, GM TVS MCI Marketing Group said that the concept bike is to assess the reactions of Indonesian markets towards such a design.
