TVS Teases The Arrival Of NTorq ‘XT’ Variant; Could Get New Tech

TVS is teasing a new variant called XT of their NTorq 125 scooter… Could get some new features and tech…

So, taking to their social media, TVS Motors have shared the teaser image of the upcoming ‘XT’ variant of their NTorq 125 scooter offering.

TVS NTorq 125 ‘XT’ Variant Teaser

The teaser image shows the dark silhouette of the NTorq 125 scooters with its signature LED DRLs beams cutting the Green coloured smoke surrounding the scooter.

Looking at the image we can extrapolate some details which might hint to what the new variant could offer. Looking at the front wheel, we see a new pattern of the alloys which could be the exclusive design for this variant.

The smoke that is surrounding the scooter in the image has various gradients of colour moving from the bottom of the image to the top. It starts as fluorescent Green at the bottom and transitions into a shade of Aquamarine by combining a small amount of blue into it. In-between the transition, a white beam from the DRLs also cuts the colour, hinting that the new colour exclusively for this model could show this combination of colours.

Furthermore, highlighting the ‘XT’ in the teaser image also points to the fact that this variant could be the top-of-the-line variant and can differentiate itself with some new features and/or tech added to the scooter. The new features will add to the currently offered ride-modes, LED lighting, 20 L under-seat storage and much more.

It is highly unlikely that TVS will bring any changes to the scooter mechanically. Powering the new ‘XT’ variant will be the staple 124 cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 9.25 HP of power and 10.5 Nm of torque.

Finally, we expect the new variant to sit above the current Race XP variant. So, basing on this we could expect the new XT variant to have a higher asking price than Rs. 98,000/-, which is the current ex-showroom price of the race XP variant.
