With the two-wheeler market heating up in India like never before, a lot of players have been entering the tyre market. TVS, a name which has been in the industry for a long time now has launched a new range of radial tyres. Called as the Protorq, this range will only be available in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai to begin with. Apart from this, Bridgestone too marked its entry to the Indian two-wheeler market.
Built using Zero Degree Radial Belt technology, Protorq by TVS Srichakra gets an innovative force-oriented tread pattern which improves its mileage and ensures maximum water drainage. Folks claim that it helps in reliable braking and great comfort without high-speed stability, superior grip and less stiffness.
TVS tyres have been known for their durability. This one has been developed by their own research and development and will be targeting motorcycles with an engine displacement up to 150 cc.
Bridgestone on the other hand, with the Neurun range is entering the Indian two-wheeler market for the first time. With capability to hold its ground in both in the wet and dry, the Neurun range also focuses on durability. Available for both scooters and motorcycles, they can be bought in 5 sizes.
