TVS Sport 2011 – An Overview

Greetings! Not much days have passed when we saw the news of TVS being endorsed by one of the most jubilant and good looking cricketer of Indian team Virat Kohli for TVS Sport. TVS has certainly wasted no time by then to roll out the all new TVS Sport 2011. In the amidst of TVS sport being endorsed by Virat, one hardly noticed any upgrades of the bike being launched soon, thus TVS has just posted the specifications and details regarding the bike on their website. I personally believe that Virat took all the limelight and Sport was left searching for an audience.

Keeping the Virat mania aside, let us dig deeper in to the facts of this ‘not so noticed upgrade’. The first and foremost thing everybody wishes to know are the new things the upgrade has. Well, TVS sport 2011 sports electric start, redesigned graphics and stickers and a brand new ambassador (Virat). Before the launch it was speculated by some that this TVS Sport 2011 version will sport LED tail lights as well but to the surprise of many it doesn’t sport LED lights.

Though TVS has launched the upgrade version of TVS sport, it doesn’t seem like one. You will have to really dig deeper as to know what actually makes this bike a eye candy as against rest of the TVS bikes. As regards the engine displacement is concerned, one will not find much to talk about in there because the engine is displaced at 99.7cc. The Sport 2011 is perfectly priced at 38,600(Ex-Showroom, New Delhi).

Let us now roll over to see the specifications of this new upgraded TVS Sport 2011. Below are all the details:

Speaking of engine and transmission, Sport is just like a normal commuter. It sports a 4 stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, Air cooled engine with a displacement of 99.7cc that is able to produce a maximum power of 7.48 Ps @ 7500 Rpm with a max torque capability of 7.5 Nm @ 5000 Rpm.
