The upcoming RTX 310 will rival Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure in the Indian market as it debuts by mid 2025

TVS Motor Company is all set to launch an all-new 300cc adventure motorcycle in the Indian market. However, ahead of its official debut in mid 2025, it has been spied for the first time during its test runs. Purportedly christened as TVS Apache RTX 310 by a section of media, the new ADV bike will challenge the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure in the Indian market. The spy images captured by Domi_Raptor reveal a lot of details about the upcoming TVS 300cc ADV motorcycle, including its design, features and engine.

The spy images showcase the alloy wheels of the motorcycle and it is believed that TVS might opt for 19-inch units at front and 17-inch at the rear. In addition, other styling elements such as a luggage rack, an upswept dual-exhaust, and a split-seat arrangement. TVS could offer handlebar mounted rear view mirrors and auxiliary lights as standard fitments.

The new TVS RTX 310 will come equipped with USD forks upfront, which could be finished in golden as well as black paint scheme, as suggested by the spy images. There is a possibility that various variants of the motorcycle are being tested simultaneously with different suspension colours. A few other notable design elements in the bike could include a long windscreen, semi-fairing and side guards.

The instrument cluster in the spy pics looks similar to the Raider 125 contrary to the vertical one that is offered with other 300cc TVS and BMW bikes. It will be a fully colored TFT unit with advanced features like navigation, ride analytics and music controls.

The engine will develop top power of 34.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm. It will be linked to a 6-speed transmission along with a Ride-by-wire throttle system, and Assist and Slipper clutch. This engine features dual overhead cams, dual oil pump with split chamber crankcase, and plasma spray-coating.

The Apache RTX 310 is expected to break cover by mid 2025. It could be the brand’s most expensive motorcycle till date in the Indian market with prices starting from around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).
