The RTX 300 will debut the brand’s all-new 299cc liquid-cooled RT-XD4 petrol engine along with several segment-leading features.

TVS Motor Company is all set to launch the keenly-awaited RTX 300 ADV bike in the coming couple of months (Aug/Sep) in the Indian market. It was briefly showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. Since then, the adventure motorcycle has been spotted multiple times during its test runs, albeit with camouflage. TVS RTX 300 will debut an all-new 300cc engine while taking on the likes of KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. It will be the first ADV bike from TVS in the middleweight segment.

It was at MotoSoul 2024 in December when the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand unveiled the all-new self-developed 299cc single-cylinder RT-XD4 engine. A few months back, the design patent of the RTX 300 was leaked online. And, now with every formality being completed, it appears that the ADV bike will finally go on sale in the next 2-3 months ahead of the festive season of Diwali.

The RTX 300 will be offered with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup. The spy images have confirmed that it will be an adventure tourer made for long distances rather than an out-and-out off-roader. Sitting on a trellis frame, it takes styling cues from bigger ADV tourers sold in the European market. The suspension duties are carried by USD front forks and monoshock absorber at the rear.

Featuring a bolt-on-rear subframe, TVS RTX 300 borrows the tail-lamp cluster and the upswept exhaust pipe from the Triumph Tiger 900, as we mentioned earlier about taking cues from the Euro-spec bigger adventure tourers. Other notable styling elements in the ADV bike include tall windscreen, all-LED lighting setup and split-seat setup.

The RTX 300 has been packed with several modern features in the form of multiple ride modes, quickshifter, traction control, ride-by-wire throttle and switchable dual-channel ABS. It houses a horizontally positioned digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity to give the rider access to Navigation, Call Alerts, Message Notifications and Music Controls.

A few days back, TVS MD Sudarshan Venu was spotted riding the RTX 300. The spy-images confirmed the presence of the 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled RT-XD4 petrol engine which dishes out top power of 35 bhp at 9000 rpm and highest torque of 28.5 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox along with a slipper clutch.
