TVS’ second product for the day is the return of the Victor brand with a new 110 cc engine and starting price tag of Rs 49,490 ex-showroom, Delhi. Victor was first launched in 2001 and became the first 4-stroke motorcycle for the brand. Engineered to be a family oriented bike for an audience who wants a mix of fuel efficiency with performance the new Victor gets quite a few segment firsts.
While the Sport and Star City+ are entry level options, the new Victor is more of an executive offering. Powering the bike is an all new eco-thrust engine with three valves thanks to which the company claims that the bike has class leading performance. The current Victor is an all-new product and has no relation with the older version sans the nomenclature.
Powering the new Victor is a new 109.7 cc mill with two inlet valves. It produces 9.6 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 9.4 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. Mated to this is a 4 speed gearbox and it comes with an 8 litre fuel tank. With a claimed fuel efficiency of 76 kmpl the new Victor is good for over 600 km. The carburettor has been optimised especially for the new Victor along with low friction pistons.
It measures 1,980 mm in length, 750 mm in width and 1,090 mm in terms of overall height. The wheelbase is 1,260 mm long. and the ground clearance is an impressive 175 mm. Victor has a kerb weight of 112 kg for the drum brake variant and 113 kg for the disc brake one.
The anchors consists of 130 mm drum in the front and 110 mm drum at the rear as standard. A 240 mm roto petal disc has also been made available at an optional extra.
The rear suspension gets a 5 step adjustable hydraulic series spring setup. The company also claims that the bike has the longest and widest seat. Victor comes with a 60 watt headlamp which is a segment first and should really be a boon for frequent night travellers.
The new Victor will be available in six colors:

- Black Grey
TVS has priced Victor at Rs 49,490 for the drum brake variant and Rs 51,490 for the disc brake variant (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
