TVS Next Launch Could be an Adventure Bike in India

The reports indicate that TVS could foray into the middleweight adventure segment with the launch of the RTX 300 in the coming months.

TVS Motor Company recently launched two all-new models in the form of the Ntorq 150 and Orbiter EV in the Indian market. We have learnt that the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand could next launch an adventure bike in the domestic market. The upcoming TVS adventure motorcycle was briefly showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. It has been spotted testing around the TVS factory in the past with the top guy Sudarshan Venu himself on the saddle, and hence we believe that it could be the next big launch from the company in India.

Earlier, several media reports claimed that TVS RTX 300, the upcoming adventure bike, is in advanced stages of testing and it will debut at the EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. For the unversed, EICMA 2025 will be held between Nov 4-9 where leading two-wheeler brands across the globe such as Royal Enfield, BMW, KTM and TVS among others will showcase their new models.

Post its world premiere at the EICMA 2025, TVS RTX 300 could make its first public appearance in India at the brand’s annual motorcycling festival in Goa. Yes, we are talking about the MotoSoul 5.0 which will take place between Dec 5-6 in Vagator, Goa. The RTX 300 could be the showstopper at this 2-day event while sales could commence in the next few weeks.

TVS RTX will be the first-ever company model to come with a newly-developed liquid-cooled petrol engine. This new 299cc single-cylinder RT-XD4 mill was unveiled at MotoSoul 4.0 last year and was confirmed to debut with the new adventure bike. It is capable of making top power of 35 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 28.5 Nm at 7000 rpm while paired to a 6-speed gearbox and slipper clutch.

Some of the notable features onboard the RTX 300 could include Ride modes, Quickshifter, Traction control system, Ride-by-wire throttle, Switchable dual-channel ABS and all-LED lighting. It will also get a horizontal digital instrument cluster which can be paired with the Smartphone via Bluetooth to access a plethora of functions such as Navigation, Music controls, Call alerts and Message notifications.

Presented with a bolt-on-rear subframe, TVS RTX rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The trellis frame is suspended by USD front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. Some of the striking design highlights of the upcoming TVS adventure bike are an upswept exhaust pipe, large front visor and split-seat setup. It will be up against the likes of KTM 250 Adventure, Yezdi Adventure and Suzuki V-Strom SX in the Indian market.
