With TVS MD Sudarshan Venu himself on the saddle, the RTX 300 is believed to be in advanced stages of testing and it could launch around Sep 2025.
TVS Motor Company unveiled the RTX 300 pre-production model briefly at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January. Since then, the ADV bike has been spotted multiple times as a test mule on the Indian roads. However, what makes it even more interesting this time around is that TVS MD, Sudarshan Venu, himself was captured on camera riding the RTX 300, indicating that an official launch could happen sooner than expected. TVS RTX 300 will be presented in the middleweight adventure segment of motorcycles which already has the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure.
TVS RTX 300 ADV will be the brand’s third motorcycle in the 300cc and above segment after the RR 310 and RTR 310. The new set of spy pics show the RTX 300 being tested alongside Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and KTM 390 Adventure, which clearly suggests that TVS is benchmarking the RTX against both of these rival bikes. Needless to say, the Himalayan 450 and 390 Adventure offer the best of both worlds, i.e. off-roading and normal city rides.

The RTX 300 looks pretty much an adventure tourer from the spy-shots with elements like upswept exhaust, upright ride position, tall windscreen, split seat layout and long travel suspension. It will flaunt a semi-fairing around the bulky fuel tank. The ADV bike will also boast of an all-LED lighting setup in form of headlamp, tail lamp and turn indicators.
The RTX 300 is likely to ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels. The stopping power could come from twin disc brakes at front and a single disc unit at rear. The spy images show a USD front suspension which is finished in black colour. It is almost certain that TVS will offer a switchable dual-channel ABS as standard safety feature with the RTX 300.

The ADV motorcycle will be equipped with a horizontal instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity through the TVS SmartXonnect app to offer a wide range of tech features such as Navigation, Call Alerts, Message Notifications and Music Controls. The bike could also come with a bi-directional quickshifter and slipper clutch in the high-end variants.
Mechanically, the RTX 300 will be powered by the all-new 299cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled RT-XD4 petrol engine which debuted at the MotoSoul 2024. This engine is capable of producing peak power of 35 bhp and highest torque of 28.5 Nm while linked to a 6-speed transmission. TVS has already filed a trademark for the ‘RTX’ moniker, so we expect it to go on sale by Sep 2025 in the Indian market.
