The Jupiter 125 has been updated with a couple of new multi-tone colour schemes without any surge in the existing price
TVS Jupiter is the country’s second top-selling scooter with average monthly sales of more than 1 lakh units. Now, the company has silently added two new colour options of the existing palletes of the scooter without any hike in the original price. It is available in four variants namely Drum Alloy, Disc, DT SXC and SmartXonnect. However, the two new colourways namely Ivory Matte Copper Bronze and Ivory Elite Green have been introduced only with the mid-spec DT SXC grade at price point of Rs 86,750 (ex-showroom).
Both the new colours have been listed as ‘dual-tone’ but in reality, they are multi-tone as the Jupiter DT SXC already boasts of a dark brown seat and light brown floorboard. While the Matte Copper Bronze and Elite Green act as basic body colours across several prominent components such as the front apron, side panels, and headlight cowl to name a few, the rest of the scooter flaunts Ivory paint shade.
The entry-level Drum Alloy trim is offered in three single-tone paint choices namely Indiblue, White and Titanium Grey at a sticker price of Rs 78,700 (ex-showroom). As for the Disc variant, apart from the existing colours of the Drum Alloy, it gets an additional fourth colour option in the form of the Sparkling Black at a price of Rs 83,900 (ex-showroom).

Coming to TVS Jupiter DT SXC, besides the two newly introduced multi-tone colours, it can be availed with two more paint schemes namely Ivory Brown and Ivory Green at Rs 86,750 (ex-showroom). Last but not the least, the range-topping SmartXonnect grade is rolled out in Elite Green, Matte Copper Bronze and Elegant Red, albeit in a mono-tone scheme, at a price of Rs 89,060 (ex-showroom).
TVS Jupiter is equipped with a 124.8cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 8.45 bhp at 6,500 rpm and peak torque of 11.1 Nm at 4,500 rpm. Riding on 12-inch front and rear tyres, it comes loaded with 220 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum brakes. It has a ground clearance of 163 mm while the saddle height is pegged at 765 mm.
