TVS Jupiter 110 OBD-2B Compliant Launch Price Rs 76,691

TVS has stated that it will update the entire line-up of scooters and motorcycles to OBD-2B standards before the end of March 2025.

TVS Motor Company has launched the OBD-2B compliant Jupiter 110 at a starting price of Rs 76,691 (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in the Indian market. It further said that the entire portfolio of two-wheelers will be transitioned to OBD-2B standards before the end of March 2025. TVS Jupiter 110 OBD-2B will directly rival the OBD-2B compliant Honda Activa 110 in the domestic market. The Jupiter 110 is available in four trims namely Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC in our country. The OBD-2B compliant version is slightly more expensive than the BS6 model.

TVS stated that it has carried out substantial updates in sensor technology and on-board capability. The latest OBD-2B compliant version uses sensors to collect data for throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel quantity and engine speed. Furthermore, the Engine Control Unit (ECU) closely monitors this data by performing live analysis based on pre-programmed parameters.

The Jupiter 110 is packed with an array of modern features like massive underseat storage area, hazard lamps, iGo assist, voice assistance, and front fuel filler camp. Riding on 12-inch front and rear wheels, it boasts of telescopic front suspension and a monoshock unit at the rear. The stopping power comes from disc units at both the ends. Though, front disc brake is also offered as an option.

Mechanically, the scooter is powered by a 113.3 cc single-cylinder petrol engine which has been updated to meet the latest OBD-2B emission norms. It will generate the same max power of 7.9 bhp and peak torque of 9.8 Nm.

The Hosur-based two-wheeler manufacturer had showcased a CNG-powered Jupiter at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. It claimed that the Jupiter CNG returns a mileage of 84 km/kg as it houses a 1.4 kg CNG tank in the underseat storage area. TVS further stated that the running cost of the CNG scooter is even less than Re 1 per kilometer.

The Jupiter CNG, showcased in concept form, also has a petrol tank of 2 litres, which is placed on the floorboard. According to TVS, it has a combined range of 226 km when both CNG and petrol tanks are fully filled. The scooter can clock a top speed of 80 kmph.
