TVS iQube Tops Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Chart in July 2025

Ather Energy and Hero Vida were among the biggest gainers in July 2025 while Ola Electric suffered a massive setback despite clinging on to the third spot.

TVS Motor Company has once again emerged as the top brand in the electric two-wheeler segment in the domestic market in July 2025. The company retailed 22,256 units last month of the iQube e-scooter as compared to 19,655 units sold in July 2024, and hence registering a YoY sales growth of 13.23 percent. However, the MoM sales witnessed a de-growth of 12.03 percent as the House-based brand had managed to roll out 25,300 units in June 2025. All these sales figures have been fetched from FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) website.

The second position was occupied by Bajaj Auto with volumes of 19,683 units in July 2025 against the 17,765 units during the same month last year. It went on to record a YoY sales growth of 10.80 percent while facing a setback in MoM growth by 14.54 percent as the Pune-based company had numbers of 23,032 units in June 2025. Bajaj retails the Chetak e-scooter in the domestic market.

The third position, as usual, was grabbed by Ola Electric with sales of 17,852 units in July 2025. These numbers were probably the lowest for the Bengaluru-based EV startup in this fiscal. It had wheeled out 41,802 units in July 2024 and hence an enormous YoY de-growth was witnessed, standing at 57.29 percent. In fact, the MoM sales suffered by 11.58 percent as Ola had sold 20,190 units in June 2025.

Ather Energy closely followed Ola Electric by presiding on the fourth position in this list with sales numbers of 16,251 units in July 2025. The brand saw a massive surge in both YoY and MoM sales by 59.04 percent and 11.88 percent, respectively. For reference, the Bengaluru-based EV company had retailed 10,218 units in July 2024 and 14,526 units in June 2025.

Hero MotoCorp powered Vida took the fifth spot with sales surpassing 10k units for the first time in July 2025. It achieved YoY sales growth of over 107 percent as numbers stood at 5068 units in July 2024 as compared to 10,501 units last month. Further, the MoM sales also had a positive growth of 36.95 percent with volumes at 7668 units in June 2025.

The total sales in the electric two-wheeler segment was around 1.03 lakh units in July 2025 against the 1.08 lakh units during the same month last year. Several e2w brands such as Greaves Electric, Pure Energy, BGauss, River and Kinetic among others contributed to the overall sales in the domestic market. The 2W EV had a market share of 7.5% in the overall two-wheeler segment in India.
