TVS and Petronas partnership have spawned a new series of engine oils… The TVS racing name also bears the partnership name…
So, TVS Motor Company and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) have come together in partnership which makes the latter the title partner of TVS Racing Team which will be now called – Petronas TVS Racing Team.
This partnership has spawned a new line of co-branded engine oil – Petronas TVS TRU4 RacePro. The company claims this engine oil has been formulated with the Indian conditions in mind and will be produced at the Patalganga Plant in Maharashtra. The Petronas TVS TRU4 RacePro will be available for buying for the TVS Apache series from 1st of May all across the country.

Speaking on the announcement, Mr KN Radhakrishnan (CEO TVS Motor Company) said –

I am confident that PETRONAS’ global expertise and solid presence in motorsports combined with TVS Racing’s four decades of strong racing heritage will take us to greater heights.”
Sharing his thoughts, Mr. Datuk Sazali Hamzah (Executive Vice President and CEO Downstream PETRONAS) said –

Furthermore, Petronas will be supplying their high-performance engine oil – Petronas Sprinta – to the Petronas TVS Racing Team who are planning to participate in Road-Racing, Supercross and Rally formats of racing this year.
TVS have shared that their factory racing team will participate in the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC) and the Indian National Rally Championship (INRC) with machines donning new partnership liveries consisting of Petronas signature colours and bearing ‘TVS Racing’ name on them.
