The Tracker is the sixth model in the 400cc portfolio of Triumph after the Speed, Scrambler X, Scrambler XC, Thruxton 400 and Speed T4
Triumph Tracker 400, the latest model in the brand’s entry-level motorcycle portfolio, has been unveiled in the UK. For the first time, the British brand has rolled out a flat track-inspired motorcycle. It is powered by the same 398cc TR-Series engine as all the other bikes such as Speed 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler XC and Thruxton 400. The Tracker 400 sales will start from March 2026 in the UK while it is still unclear whether it will be launched in the Indian market or not due to the higher GST on bikes with engine capacity above 350cc.
Flaunting a race-inspired styling with flat track silhouette and aggressive lines, Triumph Tracker 400 gets sculpted knee cut-outs, colour-coded seat cowl and tracker-style fuel tank. It boasts of the traditional round LED headlight up front while the tail section houses the flowing twin upswept silencers. The bike rides on newly-designed dual-spoke wheels with blocky dual-purpose Pirelli MT60 RS tyres.
The engine comes packed with signature powder-coated covers and bright-machined cylinder head fins. The boxy fuel tank features Tracker lettering, sleek racing stripes and mud-splatter detailing. The number ‘400’ on the side panel is homage to the legendary flat track racers. Since it is presented as a flat track motorcycle, the handlebars are wider by 23 mm and lower by 134 mm as compared to the UK-spec Speed 400 in order to offer an upright riding position. In fact, the footpegs have also been repositioned 86 mm further back and 27 mm higher.

The Tracker 400 can be availed in three race-inspired colours. To begin with, the buyers get an Aluminium Silver Gloss scheme with Racing Red graphics. In addition, Racing Yellow colourway is also on offer with Phantom Black elements. Last but not the least, the customers can also choose the Phantom Black paint option with Dark Silver, Vanilla White, and Pearl Metallic White accents.
Sitting on a dedicated chassis, Triumph Tracker 400 comes with 43 mm USD front forks and monoshock absorbers with preload adjustment at the rear. Some of the notable features onboard the motorcycle are torque-assist clutch, switchable traction control, single-dial analogue speedometer with a digital tachometer and ABS. It has a saddle height of 805 mm.

Equipped with the same 398cc single-cylinder TR series petrol engine, Tracker 400 has top power of 41.4 bhp at 9000 rpm and peak torque of 37.5 Nm at 7500 rpm. The power and torque figures are identical to the Thruxton 400, while higher than Speed 400. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The British brand claims that 80 percent of the overall torque is available from 3000 rpm onwards.
