The Speed T4 gets a fifth colour scheme in the form of Baja Orange which we have already seen with Street Triple 765 R and Scrambler 1200 XE.
Triumph Motorcycles India has launched the Speed T4 in a new Baja Orange colour scheme at a sticker price of Rs 2.05 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. It is the first bike in the British brand’s 400cc portfolio in India to come with this paint option, which is available with bigger motorcycles such as the Street Triple 765 R and Scrambler 1200 XE. With the addition of Baja Orange shade, Triumph Speed T4 is now available in five colourways including the four dual-tone choices namely Caspian Blue + Pearl White, Lava Red Gloss + Pearl White, Phantom Black + Pearl White, and Phantom Black + Storm Grey.
The new Baja Orange colour takes inspiration from the glow of desert dawns and the vibrancy of golden hour rides. Some other notable design elements include stripe pattern tyres, 3D Speed T4 badge, new frame colour and brushed steel finished exhaust. The Speed T4 is the most affordable 400cc motorcycle emerging out of the Bajaj-Triumph partnership in the Indian market.

Mechanically, the bike is powered by the tried-and-trusted 398cc single-cylinder engine which develops maximum power of 30.5 bhp at 7000 rpm and highest torque of 36 Nm at 5000 rpm. Triumph claims that the Speed T4 returns decent low-end torque between 3500–5500 rpm. It has been equipped with 43 telescopic front forks, dual-channel ABS and slipper clutch as standard fitments.
Triumph’s 400cc bikes registered an impressive YoY growth of 30 percent from FY24 to FY25. This growth was spearheaded by the Speed T4 which was originally launched in October 2024 in the Indian market. It has clinched the second spot in the sales of classic middleweight motorcycles with volumes being doubled since it went on sale in the country.

The company recently launched the fourth motorcycle in the 400cc segment in the form of the Scrambler 400 XC in the domestic market. Priced at Rs 2.94 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), it was rolled out in three colours namely Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White. Triumph Scrambler 400 XC is packed with several premium features such as 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire spoke wheels with tubeless tyres, USD front suspension, Adjustable clutch & brake levers, and Ride-by-Wire throttle.
The British two-wheeler brand is planning to introduce a fifth motorcycle in the 400cc portfolio as the same has been spotted testing multiple times. Christened as the Thruxton 400 by the media, the cafe-racer model is based on the Speed 400. It is expected to launch in the next 3-4 months, closer to the festive season of Diwali in Oct 2025. The Thruxton 400 could be positioned between the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X in India.
