Triumph Speed 400 on-road prices are the highest in Karnataka and the lowest in Delhi. There is a difference of almost Rs 40,000 between them!
Triumph Speed 400 received to bumper response as soon as its ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 Lac was announced. Everybody was stunned at what was offered at that terrific price tag, however, the excitement was cut short when an unknown price sheet was shared on the internet by someone that pegged the on-road price of the roadster at pretty close to Rs 3.40 Lac!
Triumph was very quick to quash the rumors and promised to reveal the prices shortly. And reveal, it has! Here are the Speed 400’s on-road prices in various cities of India.

Above mentioned prices include the road tax applicable in various states (every state levies its own percentage of tax), registration charges and insurance. For some reason, Triumph has also added Rs 1500 towards handling charges in the overall price of the motorcycle.
This does not include the Roadside Assistance, various accessories and any other insurance add-on. All of these are optional.
So, as you can see, Delhi folks are the luckiest as they pay the least at the same ex-showroom price of Rs 2.33 Lac whereas Karnataka people, most probably, have to pay the highest in the country – as it levies insane amount of road tax! In pure number terms, bikers in Karnataka will have to pay almost Rs 38,000 more than Delhi bikers – for exactly the same bike!
