Triumph Scrambler 400X launch date is coming up very soon as the maker has invited us for its media ride later this month…
So if the Speed 400 took the market by storm, primarily because of its super aggressive pricing, get ready for the next surprise. Triumph is ready with its Scrambler and as promised, it will be launched in the Indian market this month.
Pune-based Bajaj Auto which is manufacturing the motorcycle in India, and also taking care of the sales and distribution for Triumph, has invited us for the media ride of the mid-capacity Scrambler on 13th October. This means that the motorcycle will be officially launched in the market around that time – just before or after the ride.
Triumph has already unveiled it along with the Speed 400 and we have already seen it in flesh at the Bajaj’s Chakan plant. In fact, the bookings were also opened along with the roadster. However, nobody has ridden the X yet. Upon launch, we will also get to know the price of the motorcycle – and it is also expected to be pretty aggressive. Will Bajaj offer a special discount for the first few thousand buyers – like it did with the Speed – is not known yet.
The Scrambler continues with the same engine as the Speed, however, there are differences to the cycle parts and sprockets – for a different application. I have listed all the differences between the two siblings in the following video..
Triumph received a bumper response for the Speed 400 and it has already started the deliveries. Customers who had booked the Scrambler have also been promised October as the first dispatch month.
