So, after the Speed 400, Triumph is ready to unleash its Scrambler 400X in the Indian market. And as promised at debut, the Scrambler has been officially launched in the country at Rs 2.63 Lakhs – which makes it almost Rs 30,000 costlier than the roadster.
It must be noted that Triumph started bookings of the Scrambler along with the Speed 400 which means bikers have been waiting for their steads for a few months now. The next question is – when will the deliveries commence?
So, at the recent media ride of the Scrambler 400X near Pune, Bajaj (which is taking care of these motorcycles for our Indian market) informs that deliveries of the Scrambler 400X will commence in about two weeks from now – which means we should have a few bikers getting their keys within this month, in all probability.
The Scrambler 400X is the off-road friendly sibling of the Speed 400 and has been awaited badly. It comes with additional kit that will allow you to do some soft-roading with your motorcycle. It comes with the same engine as the Speed 400 and produces 40 PS of peak power at 8000 rpm and 37.5 Nm of max torque at 6500 rpm.
