Triumph Motorcycles is currently planning for a Quarter liter 250cc bike for India. The new bike will be based on a street fighter design getting its inspiration cues from their iconic model the “Street Triple”. The machine is said to be a liquid cooled twin cylinder that will be priced between Honda’s CBR 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250.
The production of the same is expected to begin in year 2014 at their already allotted Narsarpur plant. The information was passed on by Mr.Rudhy Siswanto, President Director of PT Global Motorcycle Trading (GMT), and the sole sub-distributor of Triumph in Indonesia. Mr. Rudhy also added that the price also will be quite attractive and will be a lot of takers for the bike being a British Brand.
