Triumph Daytona 660 Price Comes Down by Rs 1 Lakh

The bike is available with a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh which brings down its effective ex-showroom to Rs 8.88 lakh from Rs 9.88 lakh

Triumph Daytona 660 was launched in Aug 2024 in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 9.88 lakh (ex-showroom), it is the British brand’s third 660cc motorcycle in India after the Tiger Sport 660 and Trident 660. Now, we have learnt that select dealerships in the country are providing a cash discount of Rs 1 lakh on the purchase of the fully-faired supersports bike, thus bringing down the effective ex-showroom price to Rs 8.88 lakh. Notably, Triumph authorized dealer in Andheri (Mumbai) has posted the same on its social media handle.

Shaman Triumph in Andheri, Mumbai posted on its Instagram handle that Daytona 660 MY25 is available with year-end cash discount of Rs 1 lakh, which is a limited-period deal. Hence, with the reduction in price, the Daytona 660 moves closer to its arch rival Kawasaki Ninja 650 which is priced at Rs 7.77 lakh while undercutting the Honda CB650R which is sold at a sticker price of Rs 11.60 lakh (ex-showroom).

Triumph Daytona 660 comes loaded with several premium features in the form of a fully-digital instrument panel, multiple ride modes (Sport, Rain and Road), ride-by-wire throttle and adjustable traction control. The suspension duties are performed by Showa-sourced 41mm USD front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear. The stopping power comes from dual front disc brakes and a single disc unit at the rear.

At the heart, the Daytona 660 houses a 660cc 3-cylinder liquid-cooled petrol engine which generates max power of 93.7 bhp at 11,250 rpm and peak torque of 69 Nm at 8250 rpm. The company claims that more than 80 percent of the torque is available from just 3125 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and slip assist clutch system.

Sitting on a tubular steel perimeter frame, Triumph Daytona 660 rides on 17-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels. It has a saddle height of 810 mm while tipping the weighing scale at 201 kg. The fuel tank capacity stands at 14 litres. The supersports bike has a service interval of 16,000 km/12 months, whichever comes earlier.

Since this cash discount of Rs 1 lakh has been announced by the Shaman Triumph dealership and not by the brand itself, we believe it is a dealer-specific offer and not a nation-wide one. Hence, it is best to check with your local company dealer for the discounts and benefits available on the purchase of the Daytona 660 in your city.
