Triumph has opened its Chennai showroom, their 8th dealership in India. The 112 year old British motorcycle manufacturer, which started as a small bicycle maker, has come a long way.
It started its operations officially in India towards the end of last year and has been expanding ever since. It has enmassed over 450 booking in just 25 weeks. While most international brands come to India with just a few models, Triumph came out with a bang with a long product line-up.
The Chennai dealership, like others, follows Triumph’s international guidelines in terms of its design. The contemporary showroom assimilates an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The ‘Build your own bike’ concept is an interesting way to customise your bikes. The showroom is completed with the Triumph’s range of riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
The new Triumph showroom is located at:
Harbour City Triumph,
30, Ethiraj Salai,
The company now plans to open a showroom in Kolkata in July and will follow up with more in the near future.
The legendary British brand also won in this year’s Isle of Man TT in the Supersport category with Gary Johnson riding a Daytona 675R. The company employs 2,000 people worldwide and sells around 50,000 bikes per year.
Triumph gives 2 years unlimited mileage warranty on all its motorcycles sold in India. It also has an exchange your old bike scheme. A tie up with HDFC also helps in providing an attractive finance option. Triumph also runs a 24×7 customer helpline number 180030000051 for the ease of its customers.
