In the next couple of months, several new motorcycles across different categories and body types will debut in the Indian market
The festive season of Diwali is less than a couple of months away and hence, leading two-wheeler brands have geared up to launch their new models in the coming weeks. We will witness the introduction of multiple new bikes in different segments in the Indian market. Some of these models have already been showcased in the local market in India while price announcement and deliveries are likely to commence in the next month or so, ahead of the Diwali festival. In this piece, we will talk about the top 5 upcoming bikes launching later this year in India.
1. Honda CB500
Unveiled in July 2026, Honda CB500 is expected to launching in the next few weeks in our country. It will be sold through Honda Bigwing dealerships across the country. The roadster will directly rival Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the BSA Gold Star 650. Honda CB500 will be introduced in three trims namely Alloy, Spoke tubeless and Spoke tubeless with graphics.
Inspired by the legendary CB750, it will get a plethora of premium and upmarket features in the form of all-LED lighting, semi-digital instrument cluster, front and rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The CB500 will be powered by an all-new 501cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine which develops top power of 27 hp and peak torque of 43.3 Nm, while linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The roadster will be locally manufactured in India.
2. Norton Atlas & Atlas GT
The ADV motorcycle went into series production at TVS Motor Company’s manufacturing unit in Hosur, Tamil Nadu in June 2026. Norton Atlas and Atlas GT will go on sale from the last quarter of this year in multiple global markets, including the UK. The India launch is likely to take place around Oct-Nov 2026 during the Diwali festive season later this year.
Norton Atlas and Atlas GT had their world premieres at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. While the off-road specific Atlas comes with a 19-inch front wheel, the road-biased Atlas GT uses 17-inch wheels at both ends. Sharing a common platform, both the ADV bikes are powered by a 585cc parallel twin liquid-cooled engine which develops top power of 69 bhp at 9,300 rpm and peak torque of 57.5 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
3. Triumph Bonneville 400
It has been spotted multiple times on the Indian roads ahead of its official launch, which is likely to take place in early Oct 2026. The Bonneville 400 will directly rival Royal Enfield Classic 350 in the Indian market. The upcoming retro classic motorcycle will get a new swingarm and revised chassis. The rear subframe is also likely to be restyled for the flat bench-type seat and Bonneville silhouette.
Some of the notable styling elements expected onboard the Bonneville 400 are circular LED headlamp, belly pan, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, telescopic front forks and lower handlebars. At the heart, the India-spec Bonneville 400 would be packed with the new 349cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which generates max power of 36.5 bhp and peak torque of 32 Nm with the Speed 400 and Scrambler models.
4. Bajaj ADV bike
The upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle will have its world premiere by the end of 2026 in India. The same was also confirmed by Waldyr Ferreira – Executive Director of Bajaj Brazil, who told the local media that it could be launched in December 2026 in the Latin American country. The ADV motorcycle has been spied on camera several times during its test runs.
The spy shots almost confirmed that the Bajaj adventure bike will borrow the 249cc single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine from the Pulsar N250. Another major feature of the ADV motorcycle revealed in the latest spy pics is the all-digital instrument cluster with TFT screen. It appears identical to the 5-inch unit introduced with the Bajaj Pulsar N160 SS. However, it remains to be seen whether the ADV bike gets traction control system, switchable ABS and ride modes.
5. Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6
Royal Enfield finally showcased the Flying Flea S6 at the Motoverse 2025 in Goa while it had its global premiere at the EICMA 2025 in Italy. It will be launched by the end of 2026 in the Indian market. Riding on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels with dual-sport tyres, the FF S6 comes with USD front forks, chain final drive, finned magnesium battery case, and enduro-style seat.
Royal Enfield has released the feature list of the Flying Flea S6 and some of the notable ones include Round touchscreen instrument display, Bluetooth connectivity, Voice assist, Navigation, Music playback, Keyless ride, Ride modes, Over-the-air (OTA) updates, Lean-angle sensing ABS, Switchable dual-channel ABS, Off-road mode, and traction control. The battery specs and range has been kept under the wraps.
