Apart from the top-selling Splendor, Hero’s two other commuter bikes namely Glamour and HF Deluxe witnessed a triple-digit YoY growth
The motorcycle segment in the Indian two-wheeler industry posted a decent YoY growth of more than 32 percent in Apr 2026. The combined sales of top 10 motorcycles in India stood at 9,22,537 units last month against 6,95,367 units in Apr 2025. Hero Splendor continued as the top-selling model as it accounted for nearly one-third of the total sales among the top 10 motorcycles. Yet another Hero bike, the Glamour, was the fastest-growing model in terms of YoY sales which surged by a whooping 438 percent in Apr 2026.
Hero Splendor sales rose from 1,97,893 units in Apr 2025 to 3,09,131 units in Apr 2026 with a YoY growth of around 56 percent. Honda Shine retained the second position with sales volumes touching 1,82,874 units. It registered a single-digit YoY growth of 8.3 percent as nearly 1,68,908 lakh units of the motorcycle were sold in April 2025. Similar to Hero Splendor, the Shine is also offered with multiple engine options in the form of 100cc and 125cc.
The third position was secured by Bajaj Pulsar with sales of 1,31,031 units with a marginal YoY growth of 5.7 percent. The brand had sold 1,24,012 units of the Pulsar in April 2025. It is available in four distinct model categories in the form of N, NS, RS, and Classic with engine options ranging from 125cc to 400cc. Bajaj retails a total of 11 motorcycles under the ‘Pulsar’ nameplate in the country.

Hero HF Deluxe, taking the fourth position, witnessed an unprecedented demand as retail volumes touched 91,977 units in Apr 2026 from 41,465 units in Apr 2025 with a fantastic YoY growth of 121 percent. The fifth position was held by TVS Apache range of motorcycles with total sales of 49,390 units last month against 45,633 units in Apr 2025 with a YoY growth of 8.2 percent.
Honda CB Unicorn occupied the sixth position as sales surged from 26,017 units in Apr 2025 to 39,310 units in Apr 2026 with a decent YoY growth of 51 percent. For the first time, two Royal Enfield models namely the Classic 350 and Bullet 350 featured in the list of the top 10 motorcycles in India. While the Classic 350 was at the seventh position with 37,967 units, the Bullet 350 grabbed the tenth position with 25,040 units.

Hero Glamour received an overwhelming response from the buyers as YoY sales grew by more than 437 percent in Apr 2026. The brand retailed 26,573 units of the bike last month as compared to 4,941 units in Apr 2025. TVS Raider was the only model in the list of top 10 motorcycles in Apr 2026 to post a negative YoY growth as volumes declined from 43,028 units in Apr 2025 to 29,064 units in Apr 2026.
