June 2026 can be considered a rather decent month for the electric two-wheeler industry as the overall sales surpassed 1.93 lakh units
The electric two-wheeler industry reported a YoY growth of 75 percent with sales of more than 1.93 lakh units in June 2026. It was the second highest overall monthly sales after the record-breaking retail volumes in Mar 2026. Even the MoM sales were up by 12 percent in June 2026. In H1 CY2026, the total electric two-wheeler sales stood at 9,70,611 units, which grew by 53 percent on a YoY basis, as compared to retail volumes in H1 CY2025. Lets talk in detail about the top 10 electric two-wheeler brands in June 2026 in the Indian market.
TVS Motor Company remained the undisputed leader of the e2w segment with sales of 46,999 units in Jun 2026. It retained market share of 24 percent while growing by 76 percent on a YoY basis. The company had registered best-ever monthly sales of 51,630 units in Mar 2026. The homegrown two-wheeler brand has sold more than 40,000 EVs in the first three months (Apr, May and Jun) of FY27.
Bajaj Auto clinched the second position with sales of 43,234 units as it occupied a market share of 22 percent in the electric two-wheeler segment in June 2026. The sales surged by 80 percent on a YoY basis. Identical to TVS, Bajaj too posted second highest monthly sales last month after March 2026. Ather Energy bagged the third spot with 31,188 units and 16 percent market share as volumes rose by 95 percent on a YoY basis.

Hero MotoCorp’s Vida took the fourth position with sales of 21,792 units in Jun 2026 as YoY numbers grew by a staggering 175 percent. Just so you know, only 7,920 Vida electric two-wheelers were sold in June 2025. For the first time, the company’s market share touched double digits (11 percent). Ola Electric held on to the fifth position with 16,144 units and market share of 8 percent.
Greaves Electric Mobility, which retails the Ampere range of electric scooters in India, secured the sixth position with 10,928 units with a YoY growth of 152 percent. It had a market share of 6 percent in Jun 2026. River Mobility sales also surged by a flabbergasting 214 percent on a YoY basis in Jun 2026 as a total of 4,391 units were sold. As the seventh biggest electric two-wheeler brand in India, River Indie has a 2 percent market share.
The eighth, ninth and tenth positions were sealed by BGauss Auto, E-Sprinto and Simple Energy in Jun 2026 with sales of 3,916 units, 1,878 units and 1,365 units, respectively. With petrol prices increasing continuously and the latest controversies around the E20 fuel, we believe the electric two-wheeler sales will surge even further in the coming months.
