Suzuki e-Access will officially go on sale in the next few days in the Indian market against Ola S1, Honda QC1, TVS iQube and Hero Vida V2.
Suzuki has officially commenced the series production of its first electric scooter, the e-Access, for the Indian market. The e-scooter will be locally developed at the brand’s factory in Gurgaon, Haryana. Being unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, Suzuki e-Access is likely to launch in the coming days in India. It will directly rival Ola S1, Ather 450, Honda QC1, Bajaj Chetak 35, TVS iQube and Hero Vida V2. The e-Access is expected to come at a starting price of around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) in the domestic market.
As for styling, Suzuki e-Access gets an all-LED lighting package which includes headlamp, turn indicators and tail-lamp. It also boasts of ‘e-Access’ badging on the side panels below the seat. The e-scooter flaunts dual-tone colour treatment below the rear of the seat and above the headlamp. The electric scooter is offered with a ground clearance of 160mm while the saddle height stands at 765mm.
Suzuki e-Access will be available in three colour two-tone paint schemes namely Metallic Mat Black No.2 + Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, Pearl Grace White + Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray and Pearl Jade Green + Metallic Mat Fibroin Gray. The stopping power comes from a 190mm disc unit at front and 130mm drum brake at rear which work in sync with the Combined Brake System (CBS).
Suzuki has equipped the e-Access with a plethora of premium features in the form of Pillion footrest, Keyless system, Answer-Back function, 17L underseat storage area, Front inner pocket for small belongings, Dual utility hooks, 2A USB port for Smartphone charging, Center & side stands, Tip over detection, Side stand interlock system, and Multi-Function starter switch to lock/unlock seat, steering lock, and charging inlet lid.
The e-scooter is packed with a fully colored 4.2-inch multi-information TFT LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity through Suzuki Ride Connect App to offer features like Navigation, Incoming call notification and Weather alerts. This TFT screen comes with day and night modes which can be switched manually. It displays an array of useful info such as Speedometer, Battery Level (Percentage), Odometer, Clock, Voltmeter, Average & Current Energy Consumption etc. to name a few.
Suzuki e-Access houses a 3 kWh fixed LFP battery pack which is claimed to return a range of 95 km on a single charge. It can be charged from 0-100 percent in merely 6 hours and 20 mins using a portable AC charger. The e-scooter also supports DC fast charging with around 2 hours and 12 mins taken for a 0-100 percent charge. It also gets multiple advanced features such as Reverse mode, Eco Mode, Regenerative Braking, Overcharging Prevention Function and Auto Ready Cancel.
