Displaying technical prowess in all segments, Suzuki also had on display the RMZ450Z for the serious fun seekers which is inspired from the Championship winning RM Z450.
This bike occupied a small corner of the stall which was made specifically dedicated for it. In yellow color, with ‘207’ at the head, RMZ had ‘Raid De Himalaya’ written all over it.
Prominent features of the bike included:
- Powered by a 449cc 4 stroke single cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine
- A ground clearance of 320mm (12.6 inch)
- Kerb weight of 123.5 kilograms only
- Fuel Injection
- Digital Instrument cluster
There is no information whether Suzuki has any plans to get this bike to India and nor do I have any high hopes considering the fact that motocross and off roading is not one of the most desired sports in India still!
