Suzuki India has launched the Access 125 Special Edition for Rs 55,589 or the drum brake and Rs 58,900 for the disc brake version (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). Adding to the brand value of the standard Access 125, this special edition version adds a few cosmetic changes to their flagship scooter. With retro style design language the scooter continues to get an optional front disc.
Mechanically the scooter is powered by the same 124 cc air-cooled, SOHC mill churns out 8.7 PS of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The carburetted engine can be started by a kick starter or an electric push start system.

The front wheel gets a 12-inch wheel while the rear gets a 10 incher. The fuel tank can store 5.6 litre while the kerb weight stands at 102 kg. The ground clearance is a hefty 160 mm. The Access 125 is building up decent volumes for Suzuki and is their largest selling automatic scooter.
